HJK’s new coach

Aki Hyryläinen and Ari Tiittanen will take over till the end of the season. It looks like a sfae pair of hands till Muurinen is available, but my rapid reading hasn’t discerned an announcement to that effect. I’m sure Muurinen and Rautiainen are the best they can expect, as Ari Hjelm will want to finish the job he’s started at TamU. And HJK are in an almighty mess.

I’m off to Vaasa on Saturday. The Under 21s are playing Scotland, and will be hoping they don’t get too roughed up. Maurice Malpas has just taken over as the Scotland Under 21 coach, and their squad includes a midfielder called Rocco and three Kilmarnock players. Here is the Finland squad, including the newly promoted Teemu Pukki:

Anssi Jaakkola, AC Siena

Tomi Maanoja, FC Honka

Joni Aho, FC Inter

Jonas Portin, FF Jaro

Ville Jalasto, FC Honka

Tuomo Turunen, FC Honka

Pyry Kärkkäinen, FC Lahti

Jukka Raitala, HJK

Robin Wikman, Landskrona BoIS

Tim Sparv, Halmstads BK

Mehmet Hetemaj, FC Viikingit

Kasper Hämäläinen, TPS

Eetu Muinonen, MyPa

Teemu Turunen, FC Inter

Tomi Petrescu, Tampere United

Berat Sadik, FC Lahti

Jami Puustinen, FC Honka

Teemu Pukki, FC KooTeePee

Tickets are still available, priced 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for concessions. Bargain.

After the game, I would dearly love to find a bar showing both Finland against Serbia and Sweden v Denmark. Can anybody help with that? The Sweden game is on TV3, the Viasat terrestrial channel in Sweden.
