TPS brush VPS aside

Most likely it will not be a high-scoring game

This was my prediction before last night’s Veikkausliiga game between TPS and VPS. Luckily my address is not public, so I don’t have a line of gamblers on my doorstep trying to kick the door in. VPS delivered an absolutely horrible performance and succumbed to a 6-1 loss against TPS, who, on the other hand, were very good.
Jyri Hietaharju still managed to somehow open the scoring for VPS in the 18th minute. Three minutes later Ville Lehtonen equalized. Despite some good chances and a penalty awarded for TPS, the teams were all square at half-time.
Mika Ääritalo put his team in front eight minutes into the second half and Kasper Hämäläinen continued the scoring in the 64th minute. TPS went cruising after that: Armand One netted twice, with Ääritalo doubling his tally in between. VPS were in no position to resist and the scoreline fully reflected what was happening on the pitch. Highlights here.
